Was passing through town and decided to give this place a try. Outside did not look like much but the inside was certainly nice and comfortable. Ordered pineapple curry with Thai tea. The order came out in short time with a pyramid of white rice on the side. The curry was spicy but with very good seasoning and wonderful flavors. Loved every bite. The waitress was helpful, and checked in on me to make sure everything was good. Overall great place for dining.

Every dish we have tried at Royal Yum is absolutely brimming with deliciousness every time we have it. SO GOOD!!! We are a vegan family and we really appreciate all the yummy vegan options. Royal Yum is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Denton. We also LOVE supporting a woman-owned business! Suphanee Elzubeir’s dishes are outstanding.

Absolutely loved our experience at Royal Yum Thai in Denton! We tried the Parma Tofu and Red Curry, and both dishes were bursting with flavor — some of the best Thai food we’ve had in a while. What really stood out to us was their vegetarian-friendly menu and their willingness to customize regular dishes to suit our preferences. The restaurant was spotless and had a very clean, hygienic feel to it. All the waitresses were super attentive, polite, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout. Honestly, it’s a solid 10/10 — highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Thai food in a welcoming and well-kept setting!

Very cute murals cover the walls, the decor is quite lovely, along with the dim lighting. Don’t get me started on how comfy the seats are, especially on a corner. Service is amazing, very sweet server. Golden tofu appetizer was the best tofu I’ve had. Pad Thai (with tofu) was exceptional, the best pad Thai (and I mnow pad Thai) I’ve had. My boyfriend had the Street Chicken Ka Prao, he found it delightful and mentioned the portions were highly reasonable for the price. 100% will be returning, excited to try the pineapple fried rice next time

I had lunch at this lovely restaurant today and had an incredible experience! I cannot have wheat or sugar and ask the waitress what she would recommend. After she went back to the kitchen a couple of times, the chef came to my table and described an option that she would make for me. The dish was delicious with glass noodles, veggies, and beef. I was so delighted with the level of individual attention that I received. The serving portion was so large that I will likely have two other meals from it! Not many restaurants would take the time to offer this kind of specialized Service. I will certainly be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

A Fantastic Thi resturant. The Pineapple Curry with shrimp was excellent. The Drunken Noodles was a traditional delight. The steamed dumplings are tasty. The Tom Yum was perfect. Service was perfect. Great place overall. Thank you for the great meal and experience.

I went to Royal Yum yesterday ,some of my friends recommended it. I ordered drunken noodles and spicy basil fried rice —the food was amazing and spicy. They have so many options in menu . We had some vegan curry also tastes good . The restaurant is cozy and peaceful with good music. The waitress was very friendly and gave us great service. I would rate their service 10 out of 10.

My friend and I made it to Royal Yum today. I was slow in getting there since the business before was more like a market and I had no idea this had become my new, favorite Thai in Denton. Here's the extraordinary thing. My friend has some recent dietary requirements that included no sugar, dairy, and wheat. As we tried to go through the menu with the waiter, she went to the kitchen and brought out the chef. This woman was super amazing! She offered to customize her meal and not only did it fit perfectly, it tasted fabulous! Basically, she modified the Pad Woon Sen found on the menu. This was truly a gastronomic treat. I had the Panang Curry which was great but the menu offers some very interesting dishes and I will be going back! Thank you to the Chef!!!
